These new systems are being developed at an impressive rate. As Yves Clisson, President of Telelogos, reports, “In February 2010, during the Mobile World Congress trade show in Barcelona, I attended the ‘Android Dev Labs’ seminar organized by Google to introduce people to the development environment on its mobile system. Today, barely three years after being released in the U.S., Android has become the No. 1 mobile OS with nearly 32.5% of the smartphone market share. The market is moving incredibly fast,” emphasizes Mr.Clisson. “People are now choosing Android as their standard platform for projects of all sizes. This is why we decided to make a significant investment in this operating system. Our partners and businesses customers are enthusiastic about the new MediaContact 5. It’s a ‘must-have’ for managing and synchronizing business-specific applications running on Windows Mobile 6.5, Windows Embedded or Windows Seven platforms.
By the end of 2011, MediaContact will also support Android platforms. The R&D team has brought on new engineers to meet this new challenge,” explains Mr.Clisson.
