STEEP Plastique: An Automotive Player Focused on Innovation. Specialist in thermoplastic injection for the automotive industry, STEEP Plastique is renowned for its technical expertise and commitment to innovation. With a presence on five sites worldwide, the group is constantly seeking to improve its processes, from R&D to production.

Paper: A Barrier to Responsiveness

Until recently, internal communication relied heavily on paper displays, a slow and energy-consuming system, especially on a site with more than 60 trucks passing through daily. Every update required a new printout, quickly rendering information outdated and inefficient. It became urgent to modernize communication to improve responsiveness and reduce errors.

Digital Signage: A Key Solution for Industrial Performance

STEEP Plastique adopted the Media4Display digital signage solution from Telelogos to deploy digital signage screens across its site. These screens enable real-time broadcasting of information directly sourced from internal systems (ERP, MES, etc.).

Digital Signage for Welcoming Carriers: Up-to-Date, Visible, and Multilingual Information

At the shipping reception area, digital signage screens allow drivers to immediately see their loading dock without having to ask. The information is always up to date, coming directly from business systems. Clear visuals and simplified displays also make it easier for foreign drivers to understand, effectively removing language barriers.

On the Shop Floor: Digital Signage, a Real Time-Saver for Operators

Media4Display makes it very easy to bring raw data from any business solution and transform it into displayable information, such as dashboards or visually impactful indicators, to clearly communicate essential information to operators.

A first screen installed on the shop floor displays schedules, current teams, and break times. As a result, everyone accesses the same information without needing to check a paper list. In the near future, the goal is to connect it to the new ERP to display real-time status of production lines and work orders.

Safety: Clear and Impactful Messages on the Industrial Site Screens

Digital signage also allows for the broadcast of preventive messages (safety instructions, days without accidents, etc.) at key moments throughout the day. This visual support enhances the retention of safety instructions.

With digital signage, easily sequence your content to regularly and automatically broadcast your important messages. This makes it simple to schedule the display of the same "safety" sequence at each shift change.

Internal Communication: Reaching All Employees, Even Without Email

Several screens have been installed at the entrance, in break rooms, or above offices. The HR department shares practical information (job openings, vacations, ongoing work, company news, etc.) that is accessible to everyone, even without a workstation.

A Flexible and Scalable Solution

Media4Display adapts to the various business tools used by the company and facilitates the distribution of useful information at all levels. Building on this success, STEEP Plastique plans to extend this model to its other four sites.
